deliver for you and your business:

    over 12 weeks.
     
  • Up to $15,800 of project-management and promotion (promotion is from April-September plus a feature in the Challenge 2010 publication due out in November and available nationwide). We'll provide more details once we have received your registration of interest.

  • Measurable results that give you more confidence in your plan, infrastructure and resources.
     
  • The opportunity to be named one of two E2theMax Business Challenge winners 2010 and receive a full page feature in NZ Business Magazine.
        
  • Ongoing promotion on the E2theMax website (promoted nationwide with the Challenge occurring annually).
      
  • Past participants have reported greater interaction with existing customers (including greatly increased sales) and suppliers, stronger ongoing working  relationships with professional services providers, new alliances and opportunities in existing or new markets, media interest, speaking opportunities as a recognised industry expert.
     
  • Past participants have also found their businesses were more ready post-Challenge to enter awards. In 2009 Metalform went on win 3 awards including Hawke's Bay Business of the Year.



What could a $60,000 boost be made up of?

Your business may need input in a few or many areas. The Challenge
is most importantly about how far and how well your business can be
boosted in 12 weeks.

In 2008 our two winners experienced a combined total of $225,000 in contributions over just 8 weeks.

In 2009 we organised $60,000 of defined contributions for each of 4 businesses (total of $240,000) even before before launching the Challenge. Several of the experts involved went above and beyond in what they contributed after they had met the winners and got a handle on what they most needed. That's what happens when great businesses meet and explore possibilities.

Given our track record, we're comfortable with $60,000 as a suggested 'limit' for a boost project that is deliverable in 12-weeks and that creates enduring benefit. You may need less, you may need more and that may be doable, we'll know when we meet you and understand where your business is at.

 
 



Here's what makes it possible:

The Challenge is 'user pays' with a low participation fee of $2,950 + GST. 
This is less than 4% of the potential value of services and contributions
alone (or a 2500% ROI) not taking into account potential immediate and
ongoing financial and other benefits in key areas such as productivity,
profitability, customer satisfaction and staff retention. 


The only additional costs currently foreseen will be for your Masterclass
and Reveal Event related accommodation and travel expenses if these
are not otherwise sponsored. If special rates/ arrangements are
negotiated by E2theMax you will be quickly advised.

Contact us:
Simply answer the few questions at Contact/Apply with no
obligation.We'll look at your website (if you have one) to get a feel for your
business, contact you, have a chat and answer any questions. If you're
keen and we're keen to proceed, you'll be invited to apply for one of 50
places in this year's Challenge. Applications close 12 April or sooner.

Apply:
At this point you will need to be ready to pay the participation fee
of $2,950 + GST, but only $250 + GST of this is required with your
application. We make sure you receive value even at this step producing
for you a mystery customer report valued at $450 + GST, so you know
what potential new customers encounter when they first contact your
business (we report on 2-3 points of contact).

Offer/acceptance of one of the 50 places: If offered one of 50 places
in the Challenge, full payment will be due and needs to be received within 2 working days to confirm your place.




Key dates and
events:


Applications close on 12 April or earlier depending on response.

7-8 May: Masterclass briefing session:
As a participant, you have access to the experts to determine what your business most needs and in which order, how far that can be carried in the 12-week boost and what the $60k in contributed expertise, products and services will ideally include. 
Venue North Harbour Stadium.

Air New Zealand is sponsoring air travel for up to 20 businesses from around the country to attend this and the Reveal Event in September. Special rates have been arranged for participants requiring
accommodation.

June-August: 12-weeks of working in up to $60,000 of expertise:
This is fully project-managed and mentored by E2theMax. The aim is to achieve not only the plan, but the x-factor of teamwork.

Mid-September Reveal Event:
All boosted businesses will be showcased at this event. Venue North Harbour Stadium. Time and date to be confirmed, but likely to be a lunchtime event, noon-2.30pm. 

The 2 businesses considered most significantly boosted will be named "E2theMax Challenge Winners 2010" and will receive a full page feature in NZ Business Magazine.

Air New Zealand is again sponsoring return air travel for 20 businesses from around the country and are also sponsoring a $700 door prize to be drawn at the Reveal Event.


Mid November: Challenge 2010 Publication due out.
In 2009 our publication was award-winning and this year will be another step up with nationwide focus.
